Congratulations to the three students of our school who won the top three awards in Putonghua and Cantonese groups of the "Storytelling Competition of Eastern District School" respectively.
K3B Sze Pak Ho won the champion in the Putonghua group of the kindergarten group.
K2A Ip Ngai Wang won the first runner-up in the Cantonese group of the kindergarten group.
K3A Ho Yuk Tung won the second runner-up in the Putonghua group of the kindergarten group.
During face-to-face classes, five children from K2 and K3 participated in the “Storytelling Competition of Eastern District School” organized by the Eastern District School Liaison Committee.
We appreciate the unremitting efforts of the children in practicing during this period of time, as well as the parents’ diligent preparation of the story content for the children.
At the same time, we appreciate the teachers dedicated to guide the children to let them achieved good results.

Lunar New Year Celebration
Dear Parents,
To celebrate the Lunar New Year, our school has specially organized a scries of
celebration activities so that children can understand the culture of Chinese traditional
festivals and the Lunar New Year customs. The details are as follows:

Children can also wear casual wear (sandals are not allowed) on their own birthdays, so
that teachers and classmates can share joy with the birthday star. In addition, parents are
cordially invited to take a family photo with birthday star at school as follows:

Parents may prepare a birthday cake for your child’s birthday, so that your child can
learn to share the joy of birthday with others. Other students bringing healthy snacks in
individual packaging are also welcomed. If parents prepare birthday cake for your child,
please inform the class teacher before 5th February, 2024.
Parents participate in In Lego Stem Parent-Child Workshop to learn about how to enhance children’s Stem development with Legos.

Parent English Class
Pastor Kwan, Churches Representative, Hong Kong Island & Island District, Lutheran Church, teaches basic to advanced English to help the parents improve their English and share their children’s learning experiences. Meetings are held regularly at Eternal Life Lutheran Church. This is also an opportunity for parents to learn about the Christian faith, discuss different educational topics, share experiences, and provide mutual support.

The fellowship is led by Mrs. Summer Kwan of the Hong Kong Island and Island District, Lutheran Church.
